Pregnancy & Postpartum Therapy Services
Online therapy to support you through the emotional and relationship changes of pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood.
Support During Fertility Challenges
Trying to conceive can become an ongoing cycle of appointments, procedures, and waiting periods. Fertility challenges and infertility often affect daily routines, relationships, and how you experience your own body. Anxiety before test results, tension around next steps, or exhaustion from repeated cycles are common reactions.
In therapy, we focus on the emotional impact of treatment and uncertainty. We may work on coping with IVF or IUI stress, managing anxiety during waiting periods, and thinking through decisions about what comes next in a way that reflects your values and limits.

Support During Pregnancy
Pregnancy is often described as a joyful time. It can also bring emotional shifts that feel unexpected or difficult to name. Anxiety about the baby’s health, fear of labor, relationship changes, or a sense of emotional flatness are more common than many people realize.
In therapy, we focus on what is actually happening for you. We may work on managing anxiety, processing fears about birth, and preparing for the transition into parenthood, with the goal of helping you feel more steady and supported during this stage.
Support After Birth & During Early Parenthood
The postpartum period brings physical recovery, sleep disruption, and a significant shift in daily life. Even when a baby is welcomed, the adjustment can feel disorienting. Mood changes, irritability, intrusive thoughts, or feeling constantly on edge can surface during this time.
Therapy during this stage focuses on steady support. We may address postpartum anxiety or depression, relationship strain, identity changes, or the ongoing mental load of caregiving, with care that moves at a pace that respects how demanding this period can be.

Care for Pregnancy Loss and Birth Trauma
Experiences such as miscarriage, stillbirth, traumatic birth, or a NICU stay can leave a lasting emotional impact. You may find yourself replaying what happened, feeling on guard, avoiding reminders, or struggling to trust your body again. Grief can surface in waves, sometimes long after others assume you are ready to move forward.
My work includes trauma-informed care for birth trauma and pregnancy loss. When appropriate, we may use structured therapies such as EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy, or Prolonged Exposure, always at a pace that feels manageable and grounded in your daily life.
How Therapy Can Support You Right Now
You do not need to be in crisis to begin therapy. Many people reach out when something feels off but difficult to define. Others notice that anxiety, irritability, or tension at home is becoming harder to manage on their own.
In therapy, we slow things down and look at what is happening in your day to day life. Together, we identify patterns, stressors, and decisions that feel stuck. From there, I help you establish a clear focus. That may involve structured tools for managing anxiety, support around communication and boundaries, or processing a specific experience that continues to surface.
Therapy is not about changing who you are. It is about helping you understand what is happening, respond more effectively, and move through this stage with clearer direction and practical support.
